There is a new app available on the Apple App Store called BytaFont: it is NOT our application and we have nothing to do with its developers. By coincidence (
), they are using the same name of our app and a similar icon.
Please notice that we have just been reported that it does not work at all: we recommend you to stay away from it ![]()
We are planning to localize BytaFont in our next release, and it would be great to make it available for many different languages.
If you’d like to see BytaFont in your language and you’d like to contribute providing a translation, you may have a look at this discussion: Localizing BytaFont.
Thank you for your contribution!
BytaFont 1.5 is already fully compatible with iOS 6.x
We are working on a new version of BytaFont to handle CJK fonts and support the iPhone 5 screen resolution.
If you’d like to add your own, please read the Request rules first.
The list of the fonts we have updated to be fully compatible with iOS 5.0.1 / 5.1 and BytaFont 1.5 is available at iPhoneRuler.net
All the new glyphs for iOS 5.0.1 / 5.1.1 have been added (e.g. Siri microphone, emoticons, rupee…) and the new fonts handled by BytaFont 1.5 have been ported (Siri, iPad keyboard, iBooks).
If you apply one of these fonts and you still notice that something is missing, please contact us.
